The varsity football team traveled to Brecksville, Ohio on Friday, October 16th for a 2nd Round OHSAA Playoff Game against the host Bees. The Eagles played the 5th seed Bees tough, but came up short, losing 49-33. Junior Running Back Jordan Pettaway lead the Eagles offense by rushing for 288 yards on 13 carries and scoring 2 Touchdowns. He also caught 3 passes for 63 yards and 1 touchdown. Senior Quarterback Logan Heintschel completed 14 out of 28 passes for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns. Junior Tight End Donovan Coughlin caught 2 passes for 38 yards and 1 touchdown. Sophomore Wide Receiver Christian Mays chipped in with 4 receptions for 62 yards. Senior Linebacker Cam Duran led the defense with 10 total tackles (4 solo, 6 assists) and Senior Safety Roger Henneman had an interception. Junior Linebacker Logan Werner also recovered a Bee fumble.
