Junior Varsity Baseball wins opener against Oak Harbor

The junior varsity baseball team traveled to Oak Harbor for their season opener on Monday against Oak Harbor. They came home with a 6-3 victory. The winning pitcher on the bump was sophomore Zach Brown and the leading hitting was junior Kyle Kozlaker going 3-4 with a 2B and 2 RBI. They are back in

Varsity Baseball Wins Season Opener

The varsity baseball team opened their season Monday night with a victory at Ouskey field over the visiting Oak Harbor Rockets, 12-1 in a 5 inning mercy rule. Leading the way on the mound for the eagles was senior Josh Pennington who was extremely sharp in his first start of the season throwing 42 strikes

Titan Ice Breaker Cancelled

St. Johns High School has cancelled the Titan Ice Breaker Track and Field Meet scheduled for Saturday March 29, 2014.  St. Johns Head Coach Steve Spenthoff stated “With the expected forecast in the mid-30s, 80% of rain/snow mix with 1-2 inches of possible accumulation, the best decision for our athletes is to cancel the meet.

Track and Field Opens at Titan Ice Breaker

The Clay High School Track and Field Teams Open the Spring 2014 season at St. Johns High School on Saturday March 29th.  The meet starts at 10:00 am with field events and pre-lims.  The finals are scheduled to begin at Noon.

Pat Booth Nets 1000

Clay Senior Patricc Booth netted his career 1000th point in the sectional game versus Bowsher on February 26.  Booth finished his career as the fifth leading scorer in Clay’s history.  He is also only the fifth player to achieve the 1000 point milestone.

Eagle Hockey Wins Divisional Championship

Clay won the Northwest Hockey Conference’s White Division playoff championship, defeating Perrysburg 3-1, Sylvania Southview, 8-4, and then downed Maumee 5-4 in overtime
