Congratulations to Athletic Director Mark Beach on his hole-in-one!!! Mark is the only golfer during the 52 year history of the Clay Faculty Golf League to record an ACE during a Championship Match. The ACE was made on hole # 11 at Eagle’s Landing. 154 yard 8 iron.

The team finished in 5th place yesterday at Heatherdowns CC, while competing in TRAC shootout #4. The much improved Eagles were led by Jenna Mahler 43, Delanie Notheis 44, Natalie Quinlan 44 and Kendall Jacobs 52.

The team lost their first dual match of the season last night to Bedford 195-204. The match was played at Eagle’s Landing. Leading the Eagles were Natalie Quinlan 47, Sara Berg 50, Kendall Jacobs 52 and Macie Grimes 55.

Last night the team competed in TRAC shootout #3 at Detwiler Park in sweltering heat. The team finished in 5th place (185). Leading the Eagles were Natalie Quinlan 43, Jenna Mahler 47, Sara Berg 47 and Kendall Jacobs 48.

Clay (178) defeated Rossford (195) and Genoa (213) yesterday at Crosswinds. Leading the Eagles were Jenna Mahler 41, Kendall Jacobs 43, Natalie Quinlan 44 and Cali Jo Quigg 50. The team’s next match is TRAC shootout #3 at Detwiler on 9/7/16.

Girls Golf

The golf team defeated Lake yesterday at Eagle’s Landing 167-183. The match was only eight holes due to darkness. Leading the Eagles were Natalie Quinlan 39, Kendall Jacobs 40, Delanie Notheis 43 and Jenna Mahler 45.

Junior Eagle Golf

The Junior Eagles were back in action last night working on their fundamentals.

Girls Golf

The golf team defeated Eastwood 179-203 yesterday at Crosswinds. Leading the way for the Eagles were Natalie Quinlan 40, Kendall Jacobs 43, Jenna Mahler 45 and Sara Berg 51. The team will be in action tonight vs. Rossford at Eagle’s Landing.
